Helloooooooo lovelies!
Wow, it's really been a long time since I've posted here. But like Chris said, I've been keeping myself updated with all the posts (and the "who-can-write-the-longest-post challenge" *grin*) and it's so great to hear all the nice little Sthlm reunions that are happening all around the globe!
Now, as some of you might know, there was a mini reunion over here in Asia too! Hehe. Jennifer and I met up in Hong Kong about a month ago for some major shopping adventures... and boy did we buy up a storm! It's safe to say that we never went a day without coming back to the appartment with at least a bag of bargains in each hand. Here's a short summary which I know is LONG overdue... Enjoy!
Jen's dad was kind enough to host me as well, and his appartment is really nice and has a GREAT VIEW of Tsim Sha Tsui - one of the many shopping districts in Hong Kong. We were in Kowloon, overlooking the Star Ferry Harbour where you can hop on the ferry and go into Hong Kong island. We did some sightseeing - taking in the gorgeous views of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak (aka The Peak) and also had a little walk down Stanley Beach. We lasted for all of a few hours before the heat was too much to bear and we opted for cool air-conditioned comfort back at the appartment. Yes, even me - the one from the equator - could not stand the heat. It was blistering!
We also had fun getting lost in Macau - well, fun for me. I think Jen was about to kill me for getting us lost. *oops* Hehe. But we walked around the very tiny city centre and then had a hard time trying to find the roulette table in Hotel Lisboa (they only had ONE roulette table in the entire complex). Sad to say we didn't win - Jen came *this* close though! - but it was an experience. =)
The highlight was obviously the shopping. I had to declare bankruptcy when I returned home, and I think Jen might have to. Hehe. We also had a couple of friends who were in Hong Kong doing their internships, Kyla (Jen's friend) and Qianyu (my friend from school) so they brought us out clubbing in Lam Kwai Fong, and we bar-hopped around Wan Chai during their last night in HK.
All in all, it was a super fun time. Many thanks to Jen for the invite, and I'm definitely looking forward to hosting you and all the other Sthlm folks in Singapore when you come by this side of the world!
*ahem* so exactly WHEN is someone gonna come visit me??? =)

And way to post the worst picture of me ever. at least it is small..haha. you might have noticed I untagged a couple terrible/drunk looking pics of myself on facebook.
haha. you don't look terrible in any photo!! at least I don't think so... =) I'm the one that looks like a rubbish bin tipped itself over me... *LOL*
Come on girls you're both SMOKING HOT. Thanks for the summary, too. I hope I will also get to go to HK soon. Good luck with all the recruitment stuff :-)!
