Greetings to everyone! Nice to see the blog alive. Friends share joy and tears, right? So this is a joy and much more a tear post ;).

Celebrate the day! Love-Generation! - These songs will keep their power!

I do remember the times when we all screamed to the song "Love-Generation" back in Sweden whenever a DJ played it. My excitment for the World Cup and the international atmosphere that comes with it kickstarted in those days.
During the last weeks the World Cup has been nothing but a success. Everyone enjoyed staying and celebrating here. Truely a time to make friends. The most colorful phase was during the Pre-Round when tons of people from all over the world were just celebrating. I watched the match Sweden vs. Trinidad Tobago in the stadium. Afterwards there was a nice party in Dortmund as the fans of Trinidad where so happy with their team. Very nice!
And until yesterday the World Cup meant something special for the German guys. But then the Italian team crossed our way and beat us. They were that bit better which made the difference. Hard though as we were only 90sec away from the penalty shoot-out where we actually have a good standing. But football matches should NOT be won my penalty shoot-outs.

Italy deservedly won! Good luck for the finals!

The spirit is still up! We are celebrating the World Cup and the succees of and the power of emotions our national team gave us.

I will keep Jürgen & Jogi (or as I call them: Sigfried & Roy, hehehe) in my mind like this. They are winners and all the players, too. FYI, these pictures are taken from matches we have won, even if the first one might get misundersstood ;).

Keep watching and celebrating the World Cup and stand up for the champions!

P.S: The lazy Pösmunk Penguin that I am, I can now better focus on my exams and preparations for the my Madrid internship. Expect a blog to come. If everything works out I might stay with Alberto. Good times ahead.
