I thought that post was quite clear
But I am wrong, or so I fear
I would have made it more distinct
But I wanted it to be succinct
There are other words I tried to write
But finding a rhyme was quite the fight
I don't know what could have been said
To have made it clearer in your head
I’m glad you liked my little rhyme
It helped me waste a bit of time
But let’s not waste a second more
Before this poem becomes a bore
If you still don’t know who I am
Click here to find out -for I’m not a sham
Now the secrets out, I’ve let it leak
I’ll be here signing autographs for you all week!

Literature that keeps employing new linguistic and formal modes of expression to draft a panorama of feelings as a whole while at the same time exposing it, tearing the masks from its face...
...for me that would be deserving of an award
The PP
:D LOL! you're fabulous! :))
I am speechless.
Robert W. Service with a touch of Mother Goose and Edgar Allen Poe (thats meant as a compliment!)... :p
I am reminded of a quote by Percy Bysshe Shelley: "Poetry is the record of the best and happiest moments of the happiest and best minds."
(yes, I soooo had to look up the above. I know nothing about poetry. But I was very impressed. And I also found out that according to Robert Louis Stevenson, wine is bottled poetry. So don't give up on me.)
How would my best friend Kermit comment that heyday of poetry? "APPLAUSE APPLAUSE APPLAUSE!"
Oh look, Kermit even drives a BMW. Hmmm, reminds me, that I have one to offer for free ;).
Jen, I am seriously impressed!
Please share your poems with your friends from time to time, just as phoebe does with her songs ;).
Greetings to everyone!
Jens
